About
Mr. Ramalwa is a dedicated, hardworking, and goal-driven person, with a strong work ethics, and team-work attitude. He successfully completed an MSc degree in Biochemistry in 2022. His research project, entitled “A rhizosphere metabolomics study to characterize the chemical communication between Bacillus strains and maize plants” provided fundamental insights into the chemical dialogue in the maize rhizosphere and leaves. The innovative aspect lies in the comprehensive profiling of metabolites, revealing significant metabolic reconfigurations that enhance plant growth and defense. This research contributes to the development of sustainable agricultural practices by decoding the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of plant-microbe interactions, offering potential for the creation of effective microbial formulations for crop production.
Currently, Major works at the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) as a Plasma Technician
