Motumiseng (26) born and raised in Randfontein in the Gauteng province, South Africa. She has an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry (from the University of Pretoria), a BSc Honours degree in Biochemistry (from the University of Johannesburg), and an MSc degree in Biochemistry (UJ) with a distinction. Her MSc project was under the supervision of Dr Fidele Tugizimana and Dr Msizi Mhlongo. The project focused on plant metabolomics, specifically focusing on the effects of microbial biostimulants under field trial studies, using computational metabolomic strategies. She is now studying medicine at Stellenbosch University.
