Dr. Aruwa is a 2023-2024 DSI/NRF ‘Innovation’ Postdoctoral Research Fellow hosted by the Computational and Systems Biology Research (CSBR) group at DUT, South Africa. Dr. Aruwa is a dynamic researcher/lecturer with over a decade of experience in academia and industry. Asides being a prolific scientific writer, and innovative microbial biotechnology researcher, supervisor, mentor, career guidance councillor, and highly adaptive critical thinker, she thrives on a growing research collaborative network as well as experiential learning to enhance research and learning outcomes. She has several scientific publications in high impact factor journals, and remains keen to expand her research network and consolidate on knowledge and skills in the field of microbial biotechnology for career advancement in a goal-oriented organization that encourages capacity development. Her research interests span across Natural products bioprospection, Metabolomics, Enzyme technology, Antimicrobial resistance, Drug discovery and development, Metagenomics.
