About
Faith Phahlane was born and bred in a small village called Tsimanyane in Limpopo, she completed her matric in 2016. She went on to study her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at the University of Limpopo with biochemistry and zoology as her majors. She then went on to further her studies at the University of Johannesburg where she did her honours in biochemistry. Her honours project focused on the Assessment and the expression profile of 5-alpha reductase protein for further structural studies. Currently she is pursuing her master’s degree at the University of Johannesburg where she will be focusing on plant metabolomics.
